1.Cosmopack Bologna, Italy: 3D-printed cosmetic dispensing heads, airless spray systems, plastics modified from food waste, and single-color mono-material makeup palettes stood out as the most popular exhibits.
2.Paris MakeUp Show: Vibrating eye cream tubes for massage infusion, NFC smart traceable bottles, and magnetic refillable makeup compacts have been commercialized. Global shipments of NFC chip bottles will exceed 8 million units in 2026; consumers can scan the code to check raw material information, batch numbers and recycling guidelines.
3.The global makeup packaging market keeps expanding. High-end glass powder compacts and magnetic metal lipstick tubes boast strong premium capacity, with the high-end packaging segment growing at a rate of 7%–8%. The Asia-Pacific region serves as the world’s largest production base, and China accounts for 35%–45% of global makeup packaging output, with rising overseas orders.
4.Electronic label traceability for imported and exported cosmetics will be fully implemented by the end of 2026. Packaging manufacturers need to obtain corresponding overseas eco-certifications (OK Biobased, FSC for paper materials). The EU market bans non-recyclable multi-layer composite packaging. Domestic export factories are phasing out aluminum-plastic composite tubes and switching to mono-material PCR tubes at an accelerated pace.
